A resident of Bangalore, Divya Sharma was allegedly harassed by a cab driver who was driving Ola Cab in the city. According to her Facebook post, she stated that the driver of the cab allegedly harassed her in the middle of the street physically and also slapped and threatened her.
According to Sharma, she hailed an auto on Wednesday, April 8 evening, while she was going back to her home after her classes. On the way back to her home, she booked an auto who was from the Ola Cabs running in the city. She stated that the Cab driver physically harassed her and also tormented her and claimed himself to be an 'Ola Cab Driver'.
A Source from Ola however stated that the driver was someone else and not from the Ola Family. The driver was hired on contractual basis from local place and is working on a consolidated pay and is not a regular or permanent Ola Driver.
An earlier post from Divya Sharma on Facebook reads, "Last evening your Ola Auto physically harassed me and tormented me in the middle of the street in Bangalore. He even kept repeatedly saying he is an OLa auto while he slapped and hit me several times. I want OLA to take a harsh and quick action against this auto driver. I am filing an FIR and if needed I can give them his Ola details. I will not hesitate in adding media houses to this conversation. Attaching his License plate for your reference. KA 09 AC 641"
She also attached a picture in her post in which the details of the driving license of that driver is shown!
Ola has also replied to her post in the comments section which is as
